3. Go for a cruise on the Staten Island Ferry
Staten Island Ferry is a commuter link that takes passengers from Battery Park to Staten Island. While the ferry itself is certainly nothing to write home about, it offers tourists spectacular views of the Statue of Liberty, the Brooklyn Bridge, Ellis Island and New York Harbour. And, best of all, the ferry is free.
4. Look around a museum or art gallery
